..... You're not telling me anything I wouldn't be trying to pass on to a friend. It just doesn't want to sink in right now. Perfectly understandable champ, and the reason why we all are refraining from offering any advice [ well maybe just tiny bits ] As insignificant, and frustrating, as it may seem the best we can do is offer you a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen. Adding my dose of hugs.

HA! I knew the "pfft" was coming, but I just gotta try, because I worry about you, you know. Yeah, I know you know, because that's what Sisters do. That, and borrow each other's clothes. Got any mittens? I can't find mine, and it's snowing.
Shoulders and ears always available. Take advantage of them.
Warm hugs on a cold day to all.

..... Katina - LMAO, Dear Man. You are gonna have to translate that one for me. What part were you having trouble with Gams? *all of it maybe?* Right, moggies, or moonlight moggies to give them their full name, are Cats, mutts are Dogs, Galah, native Australian bird ..... www.austmus.gov.au/factSheets/galah.htmBudgerigar, small bird, you'd probably know it as a Parakeet ..... www.austmus.gov.au/factsheets/budgerigar.htmHope that's cleared everything up, any further questions should be addressed to .... Ask an Aussie, somewhere beyond the black stump, in a land down under. Yet more hugs all round.

You all are really sweet and supportive almost to the point where I feel guilty. People suffer hardships everyday. Everyone here has demons and scars and illnesses and "stuff" that puts them in places all the time where they don't want to be. Mostly people don't choose the selfish way out by taking their own life. They just stick it out. Especially when they have someone in their corner that loves them the way I loved Mary. It's still hard to use the past tense. And I do still love her--forever & always. " Past forever" is how I used to always answer her "forever & always" line. I know her pain because now I carry pain that cuts my heart into a billion little pieces every single day a dozen times a day. And what about #2 daughter? Mary did her the worst I think. Suicide is selfish. Especially when you leave behind people who love and depend on you. I know Mary had things in her past and we had a couple of issues--lots of drama beating us up for the past few months, but I was always here for her every day and every night with my arms around her trying to take as much away from her as I could. I think sometimes as I look around at the shop and especially here at home where I have just a path mostly to walk through, she just got lazy on me. Stupid, I know. I just can't imagine choosing to take her life right now was the only release she could see...which brings me back to what the law considers "irrational and disoriented behavior" when dealing with suicide victims. Damn. I guess you can see why I don't really post anymore. Thank you all so much for your continued support. It really does help. And Margret, the card is one of the most beautiful I have received.

Damn. Tea lights and kleenexes are leading me toward the poor house for sure. I used to light 50 candles a night throughout the house for Mare when it started getting dark at 5 in the afternoon. They helped her a lot and now they seem to help me too. Of course there have been nights when I've had to reload three times because I don't usually sleep for more than 20-30 minutes at a time...sitting straight up on the couch, clinging to my stuffed puppy. I'm a mess already today. That's what I get for skipping the alcohol yesterday.

I come in here with just a few minutes to spare right now, and damn, I can not think of a single thing to say to you, Quetta, after reading your posts.
But keep posting; it's a form of venting it may help just getting it out.
Oh wait....I just thought of something. Love you, Sis.
Not enough, I know. Keep hanging in there. Bunches of hugs. Buckets of them. Hugging you 'til you have to beat me off with a stick.

Q ... I never really bothered to look up the stages of grief, but I do know that anger is one of them. I don't seem to have an many bouts of anger at my dad as I once had, but the first year or so I stayed fairly angry at him. Everyone kept telling me I was hurting myself and I should let it go, but somehow I think I needed to feel it ... to over indulge and burn off the rage.
I think, in a way, it is good and healthy. So, shove a pillow over your face and scream until you can't scream anymore. It does do a body good.

You all are really sweet and supportive almost to the point where I feel guilty. No need to feel the least bit guilty champ, as Gams and Jox say, get it out of your system, and here is the ideal place to do it. Was gonna give you a great big hug also but couldn't get near because of Gams, so I'll just hang back and wait my turn.

No, no, no, Katina - there is no such thing as a monopoly on hugs; there's always room for more. Angel got hers in, and Joxie did her patented Triple Hug; just jump on in the pile anytime - the more, the huggier, I always say. Actually, I've never said that before in my life, but what the hell - this is the place for it.
I'm sending a bunch more now.

Q ... I made a suggestion on the private 'members only' board. I thought I'd keep it away from lurkers.
