I actually enjoyed this ep. Best part for me was Hudson playing Xena.

Tuesday-- Ten Little Warlords. Stuck in Callisto's body, Xena must help Ares reclaim his sword to restore his godhood.
Not as good for me as Intimate Stranger, but watching Gabby go nuts was freakin' funny.

Wednesday-- A Solstice Carol. Xena and Gabrielle must convince a miserly old king to change his ways.
Ok ep, but a bit too sentimental for my tastes.

aw....sentiment is not a sign of weakness, grasshopper..... thanks for taking up my slack again this week....perhaps I shall discuss "moderation" with ILB if you would be interested....?? I love the ep....I guess everything does mellow with age...not quite the badass I use to be....*sigh*

aw....sentiment is not a sign of weakness, grasshopper..... That is true, but I prefer my sentiment from other eps like OAAA and IOM. Yes, I would be quite interested. But age also brings great wisdom.

But age also brings great wisdom. Well, I don't know about all that, b.....but I have learned some valuable lessons along the way....

Thursday-- The Xena Scrolls. Descendents of Xena and Gabby uncover the tomb of Ares while searching for the Xena scrolls.
This was a fun ep. Love seeing Renee as the hero and Lucy as the sidekick.

And we end the week with Here She Comes.... Miss Amphipolis. Xena goes undercover as a beauty pageant contestant to prevent a war from breaking out.
This was only a so-so ep for me.

I like this ep....we need more of Xena's sword twirling talent, tho...IMO.

Monday- We start the week off with Destiny. After being badly injured during a fight, Xena flashes back to when she became the Warrior Princess.
Ah, Destiny. The very first Xena ep I ever saw. Being a Xena backstory, there was too little Gabrielle in it for my tastes, but other than that, a so-so at worst ep.

Tuesday- Part 2 of the Destiny trilogy, The Quest. On her way to return Xena's body to Amphipolis, Gabrielle gets waylaid by the Amazons and must deal with a power-hungry warrior.
I've been waiting for this ep. One of my all-time favorites and the one that hooked me to Xena. It's a shame it was created because of Lucy's accident, but an excellent ep nonetheless. Top-notch performances by both Bruce and Renee, and an interesting villain in Velasca.

I love this one too, even tho it's a little "Xena-light" for me. Bruce & Renee carry the ep in a big way tho.
I hate the scene with Iolaus. He shows up at the end of the fight, finds out Xena is dead, gives his condolences, pats Gabby on the back, & is off on his way in like, 10 minutes! Why have him in the ep at all? After their little mushy exchange in Prometheus, doesn't it stand to reason that he would at least travel with Gabby for a mile or two? After all, she is in mourning & dragging her best friend's dead body thru the jungle....um, forrest....woods?
That's cool that it's the one that "got you", b.....hm....maybe a good idea for a thread....."What Ep Got You Hooked & Why?".......

Wed.- We conclude the Destiny trilogy with A Necessary Evil. To defeat the new goddess Velasca, Xena and Gabrielle must enlist the aid of an unlikely ally- Callisto.
A fitting end to the trilogy, although it would have been a bit less confusing if TPTB had explained how Callisto became immortal, for those that didn't watch Hercules, like me.
