Cinncinati Bengals, Arkansas Razorbacks, University of Michigan Wolverines; what do these three teams have in common?

<raises hand> I know, I know! Bummer.
And what is the difference between the Hogs, Wolverines, and Rice Krispies?
Rice Krispies know what to do in a bowl, and actually do it!

As well as the Hogs, Bardling. Louisville overcomes mistakes, takes down Wake Forest Go Cards! At least they brought home the juice! (As in "orange"; get it??) I'm too funny sometimes. I'm not a big Louisville fan, but I much prefer them over Kentucky. And they did have a great year...12-1. They deserved the trophy.

Alrighty then....yeah for the home team! Serena Williams, unseeded and ranked 81st, beat top-seeded Maria Sharapova in the Australian Open final, 6-1, 6-2

Footy seasons fast approaching here and I'll be experiencing my fair share of disappointments [ again ] I don't doubt. Who were you cheering for Angel?

Well, you didn't mention the Mighty Cats' outcome for the weekend, Kat....I'm assuming that's bad??
My "mighty Hogs" (pfft) are finishing their season miserably. Not even in the top 20 going into tourney time and with yet another loss yesterday, I doubt they will even get to go to the big dance...only if they win or are runners-up in the regional tourney.
I hope your boys do you proud, Kat. (And keep your purse strings tied tight!)

No they did great thanks MG, as you've since found out on the other thread. Sorry to hear your guys are going so bad, just repeat the old mantra that's carried me through many a bleak period ........... there's always next year.

Glad for your Cats, Kat.
I really am, but that statement was just to stay on topic. What I really came in here, (which I rarely do), is to play with the new Weapon of Choice.....the cursor sword. Having fun moving it all over the screen in imaginary air-sword fights. Maybe later I'll attack some emoticons lurking about the place.

We could all meet in here together and spar except for the fact that the damn thing will only point in one direction! It would be more of a ballet than a battle!

Oooo, we could have a Sychronized Sword Team. Perfectly choreographed, we'd make to the Olympics to battle the Sychronized Swim Team. We'd have better outfits....how tight does leather get when wet?

I choose roller-skis.
I wrote an article about them and sent it to a sports magazine. They wanted pictures. Mine were not of high enough resolution to be printed in a magazine. This took place a few weeks ago...I didn't forget - but thought the editor did. I haven't heard from him since I e-mailed him explaining I was too technically challenged for resolutions of higher sorts; we never got past the photo thing and he never mentioned whether he liked the article or not.
Today, I received the March issue of the magazine. There it is - my article with two of the pictures.
Go me. (can I do that?)
