Monarchs top Sun, win first championship Griffith's 14 points, 10 rebounds lead 62-59 Sacramento victory

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - When Yolanda Griffith raised the WNBA championship trophy, she turned to look for only one person. Ticha Penicheiro had been by her side with the Sacramento Monarchs since many of their teammates were in high school.
The power forward and her point guard finally came together to kick off a celebration that’s been anticipated in Sacramento since the league’s founding season.
Griffith had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Penicheiro scored the final point as the Monarchs wrapped up their first title with a 62-59 victory over the Connecticut Sun in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals on Tuesday night.

Have any of you heard of Wallieball? Oh man it is too much...try volleyball in a racketball court no rules other then it can't hit the ground...They play it at the new fitness center down the street...As long as you don't mind the people watching you can have a blast

Wallyball; oh my that brings back a fun memory. The only time I played was once while in my late teens or very early twenties. Too much fun, the group of us laughing the entire time at our inadeptness at the "new" sport. (Surprised actually, GP, to hear of it again after all these years.)
And speaking of laughing, another sport I love: BOLLing - what a great ab work-out that is.
