Thanks so much for all the love and hugs everyone. And Gams, you even pulled a picture for me. I do feel special now. Hard to believe on one hand that's it's been five weeks. And Jox, I did a two-minute on the stages of grief. Good old Wikipedia says that experts have figured out due to a list of variables, that not everyone goes through them in the "correct" order. I'm somewhere between denial and anger...and more denial. After seeing someone id a body on one of the CSIs the other night, I spent 30 minutes trying to convince myself that maybe it wasn't Mary. No one had ask Bryan or me to id the body. They talked me into not seeing her before the cremation, and maybe it was all just a big mistake and she just needed to go somewhere warm for the winter. Get away from the girls, the responsibilities, me for a while. Remember how Xena screams when she finds Solan dead? That's the way I want to scream about 95 times a day. Where is that pillow, Jox?

I'm so sorry, 'angel. I must've been posting about the same time you were this morning...and then it went to a new page when I posted. I totally missed your big ole picture hug. Thank you.

You are a nut, Quetta - don't just feel special, know you are special. Pullin' out all the stops for you; did you notice I even got it centered? And Angel's has moving parts; now how cool is that? Katina threw caution to the wind, and threw himself in the pile risking injury...just for you. Joxie even got you some scream pillows, though I'm kinda afraid to click on the link to find out what they are. And there's more where all that came from; there are always more hugs. Love ya, Sis.

Yep, and walked away with nothing more then a slightly strained hamstring, but well worth it just the same. Hey Gams, I'm envious you're able to post those pictures, you'll have to clue me in as to how you do it, and aren't you chuffed that you're no longer the most technically challenged person around here. And champ, listen to what Gams says, you "are" one very special lady.

Thank you, ladies. I spent some time at the shop today--doing the "inside/closing business sale" thingy. It's surprising how much stuff we had to sell. And what people will buy. Thankful, I certainly am, for that. Craig's List is the most awesome thing to ever come along. Bryan swears that I could live for years on what I have to sell. Bless her heart, Mary's obsessive, compulsive "hoarding" disorder is unbelievable. I knew she was a stuff girl, but I never realized how much of a true issue it was for her. I swear I found 15 umbrellas around the shop and here at home! That's in addition to the one in my truck and the two or three in her car. I think I saw her use an umbrella three times in six years.

Mary's umbrellas tickled me for some reason....probably because I can never find an umbrella when I need one. We have four of them, including BP's Sponge Bob one, (which, yes, I have used in a pinch); they all hang on a hook right inside the mudroom door. Mysteriously though, they disappear when I reach to grab one. Or the one left hanging is the one with the fabric separated from the spiny frame; the skeletal remains of its former self.
There is quite possibly a good reason Mare rarely used all those umbrellas.

And oh! Katina, find anything interesting in the fridge? And is there any left?

Oh my god, that's gotta be it. That and the fact that she always had an armload of "stuff" to carry anywhere she went--including one very big "mom/Quetta" purse that weighed more than she did. But you already know the purse story. Thank you, everyone, for all the continued love and support. It really does help and you all make me feel everyday that Mare will never be forgotten. I wish every one of you could've met her. She had a lot of scars on her soul, but day-to-day she was an amazing lady with a heart that was always looking for the sunshine and the laughter, and the rainbows, and bubbles and everything happy. I really miss her.
