Watched it last night, episode guest starring Eric Roberts as a convicted multiple killer, not to bad. How far back does this episode go by the way?
Just can't get into the show, which is a pity, because really like Caruso, who was great in his two previous shows, but just couldn't take to a single one of the supporting cast I'm afraid, and no matter how good Caruso is, he still needs interesting characters around him to round out the show.

That's exactly the way I'm starting to feel, kat. The only one I really like is Alexx (medical examiner) & her part is always so small....Eric & Wolfe remind me of two high-schoolers most of the time instead of two CSI cops.... Don't know about Eric Roberts' appearance---I only started watching it this year...

Yeah, as I said, it's a pity really because Caruso is always good. This show started here a few years ago back to back with anothed new show, Without a Trace, and I remember thinking at the time that CSI would be a winner but wasn't so sure about Without a Trace, but it turned out exactly the opposite, dropped off CSI fairly quickly while Trace' is now one of my favourites, and I think that's mainly down to the fact that the entire cast are exceptionally diverse and interesting.

Season premier Monday night...good story, not great. Good (not great) showing from Caruso, ho-hum from the rest of the cast....two pluses: beautiful scenery (hey, it's Florida), & Bobby Hosea (Xena's Marcus) in uniform in the opening scene. Tonight....CSI: New York!! We can only hope for bigger & better things--except for the scenery, of course.

JOXXXXXCCEEEE!! Or anyone that can help....
Mary recorded CSIM Monday night for me & the silly tape stopped taping right in the middle of the show....Horatio had just had to let Walter leave from the station because he didn't have enough evidence to arrest him....Resdin leaves with what's her name, Jennifer(?)....
Can someone please tell me how it ended? Is Natashia pregnant? I need to know these answers, peoples....please!!

The pregnancy was a false alarm...
It turned out that the people Walter was killing were foster kids with him in the same house. (I don't know why he murdered the spouses that weren't. Unless a couple of them got married to each other. ) Their foster dad was very abusive, and Walter got most of it. Only one kid stood up to their 'dad' one day to try and stop Walter from being beaten. He is the only one that Walter spared, and Horatio realized that he was led to this surviving 'kid' so that he would learn of Walter's past. Walter's last victim was to be that of his 'dad,' and he knew he would need Horatio's help to pull it off.
Horatio finds Walter at his foster dad's house with a gun on his 'dad.' His 'dad' tells Walter to go ahead and do it. And then berates him because he can't. Horatio tries to talk Walter down, and Walter turns as though he's going to shoot Horatio, so Horatio shoots him in the shoulder. The 'dad' turns on Horatio and tells him he would bust him one if he didn't have his gun, so Horatio puts it on the counter and tells the 'dad' to take his best shot. He doesn't, and Horatio tells him that he wasn't only a bully, but a coward as well. It turns out that Walter knew that Horatio had also suffered from an abusive dad, and that was why he wanted/needed him to be the cop that took him down. I guess he figured that Horatio would be more understanding when he had all the facts.
Jennifer was never in any danger, and I'm guessing he truly loved her. He did ask Horatio to pass on a message to her, but Horatio said he was only going to tell her that it was all over and that she had nothing to fear anymore. Later, when she and Horatio were chatting, she asked him if he could forgive her for not trusting in him, and he said it was already done. It ended with them smiling at each other.

Ahhhh...my pain is eased. I would've never picked that ending, tho. I'll have to be sure & catch the rerun. So, are Natashia & Delco an item? Thank you, Jox'; knew I could count on you!

You're very welcome guys...
They both commented that they had moved too fast. Her divorce was recent and she is still dealing with it emotionally. I'm guessing her being upset over Delco being 'a player' had to do with her possible pregnancy, and... (perhaps the reason for her divorce was because she found out her husband was 'a player')... also that she didn't like the idea of being just another notch on his headboard. Who knows what will happen in later episodes though. One can only hope.

Well, I like Eric waaay better than Ryan...he is such a whiner. Except of course when they are together a lot in an ep, then it's just an all-out testosterone war.... Does it seem like Calleigh's parts are getting smaller & smaller to you?

I like Ryan more... (See a pattern? Joxer over Ares... Iolaus over Hercules)... although he has gotten less self-assured than he used to be. And the male dominance thing just irks me to no end.
Yeah, I noticed that too. I didn't know if the actress had other things going on or if they were giving the others a time to shine for a while.
