i love sharing music...i think about all the great songs i would've missed had it not been for friends turning me on to all their wonderful, rainbow tastes in music.... i'de like to share some of that array everyday, here, by posting a "song of the day"......may be old, may be new....kinda depends on my mood more than anything, i would imagine.... the first choice is to give a shout-out to our newest member here & my friend, gams.... cool you got legal! Hi ILB. Yes, I got it yesterday, and have been itching to get out and ski. Three weeks until the drive, and I need to put it to good use until then.

Yep Joxie. I love my Wednesday morning glides....not many on the trail that early except the regular runners and bikers, and usually when I go, the mist is still hanging on the river with the sun filtering through the trees. It is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful....
....uhm...except when I go barrelling through jamming to Alice in Chains, Monster Magnet, Mudvayne and the like.
It's no wonder why all the wildlife I usually see are snakes.

I like pretty much all kinds of music... except rap.
I've got everything from Abba to Patsy Cline to Steppenwolf. I've even got some Ray Charles and Louie Armstrong. There's some jazz that just runs me up a wall, but I like some others.
I mostly listen to the top 40 when I turn on the radio... but I can pretty much fit in with whatever is playing around me. I liked the songs that were being played in the movie Point of No Return... Nina Simone?
I guess you could say I'm versatile. lmao

My sister will NOT listen to a song that doesn't have anyone singing in it, but I don't see the problem.

I didn't know Nina Simone was a real person until you posted her songs at Whoosh.

I also love Swing, Big Band, etc.... if it's good it's good, I don't care what category it fits into.
