OK, when you're down on your luck and lost the will to live, not always best to take the first offer that comes along; it could cost you Eternity. And sometimes the menu that goes along with your new identity may be hard for you to swallow....literally. And not very fair to that innocent sweet young child to be trapped with pigtails forever either, just because you cannot control your lust.
Heavy cast of leading men in frilly lace and tights; good Halloween flic....
Take it away, bud.

This movie is based on a novel by a very popular New Orleans author. She has a new paperback coming out in November about Jesus Christ--where she writes in the first person. Most of her books we don't usually associate with Christianity.
One of the "men in tights" in the above movie was the former husband to the actress referred to in the "Who's Who" thread that I notice you didn't take a stab at. Perhaps these clues will also help there.

Ah'ha, it's all coming together now like an intricate jigsaw puzzle, the actress from the "Who's Who" would be ........ well I'll pop over there in a sec and answer that, her ex would be Tom "the Cruiser" Cruise, the writer would be Anne Rice, and that would make the film .....................
Interview with the Vampire.
I hope.

Right, here we go then .......... One lapse of judgment can lead to terrifying, and fatal, consequences. Realising her mistake and where it can lead, a woman determines to return and try to repair the damage she has done, but to late, that wrong turn on the highway has sealed her fate. A quiet young man, a figure at the upstairs window, a search leading to violent death, and a revelation to horrifying to comprehend. Let's see what you make of this one.

OK, keeping in theme for another day or two....
Early 80's movie that was remade last year and released in theaters just about this time. I just saw the original over the weekend and as usual, it is the far better of the two.
More than one big screen-name in the original...a mother/daughter pair not unfamiliar with the horror-flic genre. The particular film I'm playing reverence to this time was only the daughter's second film. She wasn't the star of this one, however. That billing went to a buxom dark-haired actress who lulled the sleepy coastal town of Antonio Bay to sleep at night with her sultry radio voice.
Weather report not so good if your genetically-linked to the town's founding fathers. They did a bad thing way back then--denying the lepers and stealing their gold...

A new home is the reward for a little girl not giving up on her new friend. Even in the face of rampant commercialism and admission to a psychiatric hosptial, a certain old man finds there are still "believers" among the holiday-goers.
A timeless classic....

An old man estranged from his daughter, with only one friend to his name, another old loner, drifting through life until a young woman enters their realm determined to make something of herself in the toughest sport imaginable.
Distrust gives way to grudging admiration and finally true friendship as they embark on a journey that will take them to the ultimate prize, but also ultimate tragedy.
Away ya go.
