Is anyone on this board watching Ninja Warrior? We like this show and it has become one of our "stand-bys" when nothing else is on. It's setting is Japan and it revolves around 100 "warriors" competing on an obstacle course for cash and the title of Ninja Warrior. There have been like 19 episodes, each with two parts...so I guess about 38 competitions. I think they compete every six months. It's a pretty wicked obstacle course and only two men have completed all four "stages" to claim the title. It's mostly Japanese competitors (women also), but there have been a few Americans to compete--and get as far as stage three before hitting the water. This show comes on all the time, but I think all but Thursdays are reruns. You may be able to figure it out here... NinjasWe give this show two thumbs up! Secondly, Criminal Minds. Probably my favoritest show right now...FBI profilers looking for bad guys before the next kill. I like the storylines and all the players. Wednesdays at 9 PM. Still watching all three CSIs, but pretty fed up with CSI Miami. Too much drama and not enough csi-ing. Love the original, but Sara (Jorja Fox) has left the show after nine seasons to "pursue other interest". Pfft. Whatever. I always wanted her and Calleigh from CSI Miami to hook up...yes, romantically. Why not? It can be done as tastefully (or more so) as some of the male/female hook-ups. And that's my Monday night wrap-up. Now I'm off to watch Charlie Sheen's sitcom... Two & a Half Men. Not bad, and Mare loooovvvess Mr. Sheen. Over and out.

You can always write the fanfic. Whoosh now has a place to show off your works, so you can share it there, or at the adult Whoosh runboard forum.
On Sunday, I watch Cold Case.
On Monday, I watch Chuck and CSI: Miami. I tape Heroes. I am renting season one from Netflix, and I'm taping season two for when I get done with the DVDs I can finally get caught up.
On Tuesday, I watch NCIS and The Unit. I tape Cavemen and Bones to watch later. Cavemen could be soooo much better than what it is. I expect it to get cancelled.
On Wednesday, I watch Pushing Daisies, Criminal Minds, and CSI: NY. I tape Bionic Woman and Life to watch later. They're okay, but I won't miss them if they get cancelled.
On Thursday, I watch Ugly Betty, CSI, and Without A Trace.
On Friday, I watch Ghost Whisperer, Moonlight, and Numb3rs. I tape Women's Murder Club to watch later.
Saturday is a bust.
I also watch, Medium, Lost, and Army Wives. They won't be on until next year though. The writer's strike will no doubt push back their airing dates. Actually, I'll most likely be doing a lot more reading if they don't hurry up and get that resolved. I hadn't checked out Katherine's site yet, so I don't know what's going on there now.

I left out Andy. He's still pretty much like Xena for me. I can watch the the midnight hour eps and then turn around and watch them again that same day at 6 PM. Remember we used to be able to catch Xena at 11 AM, 6 AM & 6 PM was it?? I watched them all. Would skip lunch at work so I could be home by 11 AM.
Anyhoo, we have started watching Xena again...in the mornings. It comes on Oxygen at 7 AM. Mare has made it up--before daylight, mind you--everyday this week! I finally made it up with her this morning. And it was Lifeblood. Pfft. One of my least favorite eps. No matter. It's still fun to be up at that time of the day together.

And then's she locked into Greg & Dharma reruns for another hour. By that time, we've both gotten our showers--all primpted and primed--and away we go!

Don't think it screens down here champ, at least I can't recall seeing it. Not watching a heck of a lot at the moment, not regular programs anyway, on free to air it's "Without a Trace" Wednesday night, and a new series on ABC called "Elephant Diaries" a fascinating wildlife show .............. www.abc.net.au/tv/guide/netw/200711/programs/ZY8114A001D22112007T200000.htmOn Foxtel it's mainly sport, documentaries and movies and that's about it, sheesh maybe I'm just to picky.

Oh, Xena airs at 7am? I wonder if that's 6 or 8am here? I used to love way back when, when Oxygen aired it three times a day; I'd catch it late morning to preview, and if it wasn't too scary, or too suggestive, LX and I would watch it together after school....she was in first grade at the time. Wow! That seems like forever ago.
I don't watch a lot of shows on a regular basis, but there are a few I don't miss.
Hubs got me hooked on The Unit last year. I like the side-stories better than the military aspects of the show, but I can't believe they killed off one of the main characters a few weeks ago - it was a handful of tissues moment.
I usually catch at least part of The Bionic Woman....not particularly because I like it, although it's not bad, but because "Life" comes on afterward. I love that one. The quirks of the main character make me smile.
Thursdays we all watch Survivor together, then when the girls go to bed, it's CSI. The original is the one only we watch. Jorja Fox's other interests? I've wondered since the end of last season if perhaps she's pregnant....she looks as if she might have a bit of a tummy going, but I don't keep up with celebrity news, so I've no clue.
That's about it....aside from whatever happens to be on Animal Planet, the Food Network, or Nickelodeon when the girls have the television on......oh, and Hannah Montana. Ick.

We're in the same time zone, dearie. Eastern. Should be 7 for you, as well. So...you can at least have it on and be listening while you're running around doing the "morning mommy dance".

Kat, I love Elephant Diaries. I have watched it several times. Very heart-wrenching for a softie like me. Besides, elephants are my favorite. I have probably 100 in my collection--all unique, mostly all old--found at yard sales and flea markets. I'm a surfer when I do get to watch tv.

Really; I thought we were an hour different. I know we're both Eastern, but I thought Indiana didn't do Daylight Savings Time.....hhmmm, and if not, it would mean we are the same time now, but not the rest of the year. Or an hour difference now, but the same Aprilish through Octoberish. Hell, I don't know - it used to be a b!tch to try to keep it straight when Hubs used to fly out of South Bend.

Or an hour difference now, but the same Aprilish through Octoberish. I'm sorry, my friend. I forget that you spent time in this...uhmm..."valley". Actually we are in the part of IN that does change times. It changes about 30 miles north, up near Scottsburg, IN. They don't. I used to have to take blood at two of the nursing homes up there--three mornings a week. I would leave here and be an hour too early up there. If I waited till the time was decent to wake them there, then I was an hour behind when I got back to the city. It was a source of irritation for everyone involved--especially my little old peeps that I was sticking a needle in at 4 AM! Hey, I'll never have to work at 4 AM again! Unless I want to, of course...and who in their right mind would want to?

I finally watched all of season one's Burn Notice that I had taped back in September. I will be keeping up with that when season two returns next summer.

My newest favorite is sexy guy's, (sexy in the most dorkiest of ways), Alton Brown's new show, "Feasting on Waves".
I missed the whole "Feasting on Asphalt" thing, so Alton in this type of show is new to me; I think I fell in culinary love with him on "Good Eats".
In "Feasting on Waves" he travels the Carribean, searching out traditional flavors and dishes in restaurants, roadside stands, farmer's markets, and in the homes of local residents. Lots of interesting historical tidbits offered, and served with his weird sense of humor.
The bad thing about watching these "prime time" cooking shows is that they always make me hungry....and eating this late usually gives me weird dreams. Alton as a vampire with an island accent, serving up pitchers of spicy Bloody Marys sounds about right for tonight.

I cannot warm up to that man! He's very smart...and I usually end up watching him because I always learn something...but what a dork! I know you are in love, so I'll cut him some slack...for you. Did you see what I posted about CSI? What do you think about Wm Peterson leaving? Next week starts all the premiers...and we might have to wait for the reruns! I guess that should be at the bottom of my list of worries right now.

Thanks for the slack. LMAO. Yes, yes - Alton Brown is a dork; I'll give you that, but come on, Q, look past that dorkiness, and surely you'll see that oh-so-semi-hotness-in-the-most-weird-kind-of-way. (I'm cracking myself up here....not enough coffee yet, I'm assuming is the reason.) Not that weird comb-overish look he sometimes sports, but the scruffy-faced spikey-haired Feasting on Waves look. Not to mention, he's a master of bad puns. Oh! what a guy!
I did read the CSI info you posted....and I wasn't too surprized to learn that Peterson is leaving. Disappointed, but not surprized. Hubs has been saying that since last spring; he read on MSN or Yahoo news that there were rumors, (I get most of my news second-hand like this).
Though I read that Laurence Fishbourne will most likely get the part, can you imagine John Malkovich as Peterson's replacement? Oooo....that'd be scary; he's kinda dorkishly freaky....and doesn't have a bit of oh-so-semi-hotness-in-the-most-weird-kind-of-way appeal.
My vote goes as Grissom's replacement goes to Alton Brown - Culinary Detective.
