I'm fixing to do a Google search, but thought I'd query here too. Mom's potassium level is extremely high, and I was wondering if there was something she could eat/take that would lower it. She's real tired, and claims she feels as bad as when she went into the hospital for Wegner Granulomatosis.
The doctors told her what foods not to eat, but that's all she was told to do. I'd have thought there was something she could take that would help lower her potassium levels back to normal.

BTW: I don't know what meds Mom is still taking, but I'm sure it could have something to do with the high levels. She's been weened off most of her meds, and I'm wondering if this is a side effect that has to work itself out. Because she was having to eat a lot of foods rich in potassium to raise her levels, due to her meds depleting it from her system. And now that she's decreasing the meds, I'm wondering if her body has gotten used to over producing potassium, and will now have to learn to go back to the normal production.
So, I'm hoping to find something natural that will help return her body to its normal functions. And I know you two are all for the natural, so that's why I started here.

Mom's Wegner Granulomatosis is back, so I'm assuming it was the cause of her potassium levels being too high.
