Dang, you are good at this game! Can you name the two movies she took home the statues for? Do I get extra credits if I'm right? Kramer Versus Kramer, best supporting actress, and Sophies Choice, best actress.

Playin' hard ball are you, out to squash me, think your statement that "I'm gonna get you this time" may be correct. ;D Right, what time period are we talking about here? And I'll take a stab at it while I'm here as well, by any chance could you be talking about .................. Burt Lancaster.

Thanks MG, great to be back I can tell you, to long without visiting here and I'd be climbing the wall. When you say I have half of it right already, I assume you mean half the name, if that's right then it can't be Lancaster, so I'll take another punt and say .............. Burt Reynolds?

And he scores with a field goal!
I chose Mr. Reynolds at the time because we had just watched the remake of The Longest Yard with Adam Sandler....excellent movie! I like the original as well, but this is a great remake & Mr. Reynolds has quite a large part in this one, too!
Your turn, my friend!

Dang, I am good, no point denying it. Bit miffed though that it took two shots to get it, should have picked up on your hint "Smok'em" which was a reference to Smokey and the Bandit I take it. I'll come up with another one to tease you with tomorrow, what do you reckon, easy, medium or hard?

Okay my friend, this should be fairly easy I reckon.
This lady is an all round entertainer, one of only a handful of people to have won the big four awards, Oscar, Tony, Emmy and Grammy.
Daughter of a legendary Mother and famous Director, both Oscar winners themselves, she is .............. ?

Still with us, turns sixty in two months. Like her famous Mother, her personal life has been a fairly tragic affair, with numerous husbands, and a dependency on prescription drugs, which ended her Mothers life at the early age of forty seven.

At first, I was thinking Ms. Streisand...but don't recall ever hearing anything of her parents....then I thought of Ms Helen Hayes....but alas, I remember they dimmed the lights on Broadway when she died....so....yes, Liza is my final answer.

This actress gained an Oscar nomination for her role in a popular horror flic where she played a not-so-popular teenager, unlike her real-life teen years where she was actually Homecoming Queen of her Senior class.

Did she then go on to win an Oscar some years later for her portrayal of a real life country and western singer, would she be one of my favourite actresses, the amazingly talented .........
Sissy Spacek?
