Well, you know me....not so much about the win or lose part...just want to keep the game moving & learn something new along the way! Yeah, hard, easy, in between, it doesn't really matter, it's having fun playing that counts, and I'm sure having a lot of that, guess that between one of my favourite activities, and one of my favourite people, I couldn't really miss now could I.

Righto, this shouldn't cause you to many problems.
I'm an actor whose career spanned six decades, married to the same lady for 64 years, I won an Oscar for a role totally removed from the type of film I'm most associated with. Moved into films from a background in vaudeville.
I was voted the 14th Greatest Movie Star of all time by Entertainment Weekly. A line of dialog synonymous with me was never actually used by me in any of my more then sixty films.

Thought you'd be on that like a Seagull on hot chip. My background in Vaudeville as a song and dance man helped me in my Oscar winning role, while only short in stature I wasn't a guy to be trifled with in many of my films. One of my best known films ended in explosive fashion, a famous scene from another includes a piece of grapefruit.

Hey who are you insulting, I'm a famous tough guy, not a little wimp. Right, in the film I won an Oscar for I played the part of a real life composer, I also played the part of a real life actor [ who we were discussing here just recently ] in another film.
I'm best remembered as a fast talking tough guy in gangster films, in one of my most famous [ the one with the explosive finish ] I escape from prison to avenge the death of my Ma, and go out in a blaze of glory in the finale.

Ok...for the season.....
This actress made her debut in a 1938 version of a popular Christmas movie & actually played the daughter of her real-life acting parents.....became a big Broadway star with most of her acting gigs on TV.....appearing in practically every sitcom or series ever made, including Have Gun Will Travel, Zane Grey Theater, Rawhide, Gunsmoke, Wagon Train, as well as shows like Quincy, Marcus Welby, Adam 12, Knots Landing, & so on.....(she played the role of a doctor in several different shows)
My favorite of her series involved her in far off---waaaay far off---travel---so far off, she actually had a hard time getting home.

Must admit I had to cheat a little on this one MG, I [ finally ] twigged as to who you meant, could even picture her face, but couldn't recall her name for the life of me, so looked up "Lost in Space", and sure enough there she was, none other then .............
June Lockhart.
Do I still get a pass for that, or a rap over the knuckles for peeking?

It was just your very last clue that gave it to me, I was a bit lost till then. From your last post I'd say it looks like my ride on the gravy train is about to come to an end, ah well, it was good while it lasted.

Okay pilgrim, get your teeth into this one, shouldn't be to difficult I reckon ...........
I am an actor, born in Europe, but emigrated to America at age three. A champion athlete in my youth, I was the undefeated winner of five Olympic gold medals, 67 world and 52 national titles, and holder of every freestyle record from 100 yards to the half-mile.
Upon my retirement from competition, I moved into films, appearing in more then twenty over a twenty year career, playing the same two characters in almost all of them, one in particular gaining me enormous popularity.

Ok, this versatile actress has been nominated for more Academy Awards than any other actor in history & has won two.
Avoids "front-on" pictures because she has a deviated septum which she refuses to have fixed.
Is considered by many movie reviewers to be the greatest living screen actress; early ambitions leaned her toward Opera & she has only turned down two roles in her 30-odd year acting career.

Ummm, had to ponder this one, first thought was Kathrine Hepburn, until I read she's considered by many the greatest "living" screen actress, which means that can't be right, and although I don't know about the deviated septum or the early ambitions toward Opera, can't think of anyone else who it could be, so will go with the divine .................
Meryl Streep.
